Old Terrel/Union Cemetery

Located on both sides of county road 1200 west just south of 200 south and well cared for.  It is well cared for and is a very old cemetery that is still in use.  The old part known as Terrell is to the north on the west side of the road.  It was in use by 1830.  Samuel Amburn and Drummond Smithson, Revolutionary veterans are buried here.  Also buried here are Civil War veterans, brothers Simon, Peter, James and John Driskill, sons of Allen, a farmer in Stoney Creek twp.  They were all killed in the Battle of Shiloh.  Allen Driskill went south with his horse and wagon and brought their remains home for burial.
