New Pittsburg Cemetery

On the Jay/Randolph county line (1000 north), east of county road 400 east, the earliest known burial was in 1839.  It is still in use and well cared for.  Edward Thurie and Arthur Trew are buried here, both veterans of the Revolutionary War.
